Today (16th December 2009) the Payments Council Board in the UK has agreed to set a target date of 31st October 2018 to close the central cheque clearing. Cheque use is in long-term, terminal decline. Now is the time to start using the electronic payments facilities of SunAccounts together with electronic remittances. Many countries around the work operate in a cheque free environment.

Infor PM supports eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL), a fast growing worldwide financial reporting standard. It provides integrated XBRL capabilities, enabling companies to quickly comply with financial reporting requirements aimed at improving the transparency and accessibility of financial data.
Asked about the XBRL capability, Jonathan Marcer, of Professional Advantage, the 2009 Infor Gold Partner and Overall Best Infor Reseller in the Pacific Region, stated “Report submission and compliance is a big burden for business. Agencies like APRA are providing XBRL gateways to lodge electronically. Infor PM Drag and Drop XBRL is about simplicity and efficiency. It enables users to tag financial data through a drag and drop interface, preview and error check the report, and export securely the finished interactive XBRL report. SunSystems 5.4 is the latest version of Infor FMS SunSystems and is the first release of the software to include Infor Open SOA, a unique, event-driven service-oriented architecture (SOA).
In addition to SOA integration, Infor FMS SunSystems 5.4 delivers a significant number of customer-driven enhancements, allowing customers to streamline their financial management processes. A new User Interface provides a fresh experience for users with more intuitive and dynamic search capabilities to drive greater productivity and efficiency. There are also enhancements around security in order to help customers meet the increasing requirements around control and corporate governance.
The SOA enablement and the delivery of many enhancements shows Infor’s commitment to its extensive SunSystems customer base and demonstrates real value for their maintenance investment. Version 5.4 is testament to the fact we are constantly listening to our customers to ensure we are enriching our software to meet their needs and provide enhanced financial business practices.
Version 5.4 is available in nine languages: English, French, Italian, Spanish, German, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese and Chinese - Simplified and Traditional. It supports Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and 2008 as well as Oracle 10g and 11g platforms.
