Integration
Overview
Your finance system should hold all the transactions required for your financial reporting - even if they originate on other systems. This will avoid the dreaded final Excel adjustments or manual adjustments.
There are several functions in SunAccounts to help you achieve this:
- VisionXL can import data into SunAccounts V4 and V5
- SunAccounts V4 has a quick and simple Transfer function for reference data and an Import function for importing a correctly formatted file
- SunAccounts V4 has a simple macro function that can automate repetitive tasks and this is especially useful for repeated data import
- SunAccounts V5 has a configurable Transfer Desk for importing reference data.
- The Business Rules module can check and manipulate transactions as they are being imported. Thus, with the use of internal lookup tables or mapping it is possible for external systems to have a different coding to SunAccounts but still have the transactions imported automatically
